Dacurate Insight Initiative, known simply as Dacurate, is a social impact organisation dedicated to empowering Africa's next generation through education and leadership development. We create stages where young people can learn, compete and be seen.
Our story
From political databank to the school stage.
Dacurate began as a political databank, a source of factual political information in Nigeria. We soon realised that facts alone are not enough: the real change happens when young people learn to use them.
In 2023, we launched our first school competition, and Dacurate grew into the education and leadership organisation it is today.

To inform and empower the next generation through education, leadership and civic knowledge.
Leadership can be taught, and it starts early.
Every school, public or private, deserves a stage.
Young people rise to the level of the platform you give them.

Two flagship events held every year since 2023 across Lagos State, with the backing of the Lagos State Ministry of Education.

The first Debate
First Secondary School Leadership Debate, in partnership with Debra's Palace (Boy Child Initiative).
Leadership and Finance
The second Debate brings 20 schools and 300+ students together. The first Primary School Leadership Quiz is held.
Leadership and Technology
Redeemers International Secondary School are crowned champions at the MUSON Centre. The second Quiz returns.
Bigger stages
Third Quiz at the Wole Soyinka Centre. 4th Debate on 7 November. Dacurate Schools launches.
